HCL has done projects on Lane departure warnings, Blind spot detection, Panoramic rear view aid systems & crash notification systems to provide various safety & driver assistance solution to its customers. HCL has therefore very good imaging expertise to provide such solutions and the panoramic rear view aid system is an IP being developed by HCL. HCL has developed this solution with 4 cameras against the 3 camera product available in the market. HCL has developed algorithms to stitch the images captured by 4 cameras and provide a single panoramic display to the driver.
