The customer needed help in optimizing, extending and upgrading their Enterprise systems consisting of BAAN ERP, Cognos for Business Intelligence and Lotus Notes for better sales forecasting, supply chain management and various other business functions.
HCL’s Solution
HCL used its breadth of technical knowledge in Package Implementation, web development and application development to provide the customer with an array of services. We provided a complete end-to-end BAAN implementation with migration, enhancement, integration, help desk and post implementation services. Some of the applications implemented on Baan were Supply Chain Management, Shop Floor Inspection, inventory management system, Paint Quote Sheet, Defect Management system. We also worked on the Lotus Notes platform for various applications including time tracking, leave management, intranet and internet sites, content management, integration with ERP, multilingual applications, CRM applications, helpdesk and others.
