About TMPE

TMPE (Telecom, Media & Publishing, and Entertainment) is a subset of the ‘Consumer Services’ service line within CMHP (Consumer Services, Manufacturing, Health care and Public Services) Line of Business in HCL. TMPE is the third biggest contributor to the overall revenues of HCL Technology. The customers of TMPE include a large number of Fortune 500 companies.

  • Telecom

    With decades of experience in executing global projects in the Telecom space and a team size of about 10,000 professionals, HCL’s Telecom Vertical is perfectly positioned to serve end-to-end requirements of a Telco environment. HCL has rich experience in working with a large number of telecom service providers, OSS/ BSS solution providers and equipment manufacturers which gives us the unique advantage of understanding the complete telecom value chain.

  • Media & Entertainment

    The Media and Entertainment practice at HCL is more than a decade old. It was formally inducted into the Telecom, Media & Entertainment vertical in 2001 to serve our clients more efficiently. HCL’s long-term relationships with clients, and strategic partnerships and alliances with some of the leading Media and Entertainment companies have helped it develop extensive domain knowledge and expertise in this micro-vertical. HCL provides end-to-end capabilities in Recorded Music, Digital and New Media, Content Solutions for Gaming, Advertising, Lottery, Broadcasting and Cable, and Hardware-to-Software capabilities in the Entertainment segment.

  • PBIS

    To serve customers in the Publishing and Business Information domain better, HCL established a Publishing & Business Information Systems (PBIS) micro vertical. This micro vertical is more than a decade old and has an experience of working with the top 5 publishers and one of the top market research companies along with many more other customers in this domain. In addition to customer engagements, PBIS has also invested in Digital Media Lab & Solutions Centre of Excellence. The P&BIS micro vertical provides end-to-end capabilities in publishing newspapers, periodicals, books, education, assessment for schools and institutes imparting higher education, custom publishing, etc.
