MW & SOA Customer Merck celebrated at Computerworld Honors Award Ceremony
Merck & Company, a leading life sciences research company and one of the largest customers of the Middleware & SOA group was recognized as a Laureate at the Computerworld Honors Award Ceremony in June 2008. To enable automated SOA testing projects HCL’s Architects built an automated agent based Test Harness for SOA & BPM testing called xFIT (previously known as CrossFIT).In June 2008, xFIT won the FSO Excellence Awards in the category of Technology Innovation at the FSO Annual Summit.
To select the winner for Technology Innovation, truly differentiating business attributes like Global scale of the Innovation, uniqueness of the innovation/product in the market were considered. Elaborating further on the selection process, Rekha Vatsa, CEO FSOkx stated “We devised our selection process with five criteria in mind, our analyses on the vendor companies, references received from clients, details received through nomination forms, information available on public domains and most importantly insightful inputs from our distinguished jury members”. xFIT which is a start to finish process and functional testing solution stood out for its ability to be customized for any environment.The team working on xFIT also won accolades within HCL. They were awarded the Innovation@HCL contest held this year.
