These engagements have been delivered using HCL’s Offshore Adapter Factory model. The adapter factory has a single fungible team that is cross skilled and trained to deliver adapters and connectors for various middleware and software products. HCL uses 2 methodologies and a set of tools to get the adapter factory going. The first methodology is 3 phase approach to setting up the adapter factory for the customer. This followed by designing an adapter development pattern customized for the customer. Finally we have standard set of tools to control, manage and operate an adapter factory.
