HCL's Products Engineering division in the BFSI space has partnered with Gemstone during June 2008. HCL Technologies, will leverage GemStone's GemFire® solution for its Enterprise Risk and Compliance product suite to meet ultra low-latency requirements of financial firms. The combined solution will offer a high performance, in-memory distributed operational data infrastructure that supports low latency, high scalability and resiliency along with high throughput data sharing.

SFS

HCL is an implementation partner for SFS. SFS is the largest company of SFS Group and is specialized in providing application software to the insurance industry and solving channel, branch, agency and headquarters related automation problems for insurance companies.

Chordiant

Chordiant solutions and services help major enterprises around the world deliver the best possible customer experience. Unlike traditional business applications, Chordiant Customer Experience (Cx^TM) solutions blend insight with agile business processes and real-time decisioning to uniquely understand the customer's behavior.

The partnership will leverage the strengths of both organizations in the financial services space and will provide Consulting and System Integration services to global customers. The partnership focuses on:

Augmenting the reach of Chordiant solutions among HCL customers, globally
Development of deeper vertical solutions in Financial Services, enabling both organizations to grow their service offerings and take on competition more fiercely
Building a robust Professional Services practice around Chordiant products responsible for product delivery, implementation and support

HCL's partnership with In-Solutions Global, a leading payment solutions provider and a major player in the cards industry, provides the following solutions to the cards industry.

Prima Solutions

The insurance industry is in the forefront in SOA adoption primarily because the industry is heavily dependent on its legacy assets for transaction processing. Many insurers intend to transform their IT landscape by leveraging their existing assets using SOA. Prima focuses on the insurance industry through IBCS (Insurance specific business data model). HCL has partnered with Prima to lead in this evolving space.

Trema (Now Wall Street Systems)

HCL is an implementation partner with Trema, a leading provider of treasury and asset management software for corporations and financial institutions for Trema Suite™ which is a versatile treasury and asset management suite. The suite is aimed at global and advanced treasuries.

SimCorp's Dimension

HCL has partnered with SimCorp Dimension to offer an efficient, transparent and flexible solution for the investment management industry. The product is used by over 140 financial institutions worldwide, including mutual funds, pension funds, hedge funds, life insurance companies, commercial banks and institutional asset managers.

SAGE

HCL and SAGE, a Switzerland-based software development company for the financial services industry, have a strategic alliance to develop Propsero, which is a private wealth management application. Under the alliance, HCL and SAGE will work together to develop, distribute and implement Prospero, SAGE's flagship product, using HCL's expertise and services. The alliance will include product engineering initiatives, testing and software implementation and provision of dedicated support.

Misys

HCL is an implementation partner for the delivery of two leading products from Misys, namely Summit and Opics Plus.

Misys Opics Plus is the new service-oriented, smart-client release of Misys Opics, which is a comprehensive treasury and capital markets solution for front-to-back office, cross-asset processing of a wide range of financial instruments. In a single system, Misys Opics handles vanilla and complex derivatives, fixed income, and equity and treasury trades.
