The microverticalized delivery units are functionally aligned, namely, Research & Analytics, Institutional Trading, Exchanges and Settlement, Investment Management and Investment Services/Securities Services. This provides the customer with HCL's depth and width of domain knowledge in capital markets.

These services are provided through Services Oriented Delivery Units which provide Trade and Settlements, Reconciliation, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing and Controlling, Data Management, Issuance and Payments, Research and Analytics spanning across FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities and OTC Derivatives for both Sell-Side and Buy-Side.

HCL domain knowledge is further demonstrated by several of its employees having certified for Technology, Management and Capital Markets domain knowledge.

Gartner recognizes HCL as a leader in Capital Markets and Exchanges. In a report titled, ‘Exchanges of the future: Competitive Landscape’, HCL's next-generation solution framework based on SOA and incorporating best-of-breed components to meet re-engineering requirements in the capital market trading supply chain was highlighted. The report revealed HCL's focus on order matching, market data consolidation and distribution, buy/sell-side black-box trading and risk management.
