Customer: A large global investment bank
Business Context
The customer's core banking application, integrates a whole range of financial products covering all the foreign branches of the bank. The system has external and internal interfaces to functional sub systems such as Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Funds Transfer, Profitability Analysis and Credit. But with growing demand, the customer was looking for better adaptability, stability and reliability.
- Carrying out any requests raised by the bank for the development of program work units or modules as part of the bank's Internet project
- Executing screen customization tasks, which could include Current Technology (CT) as well as New Technology (IWS).
- Helping out with the creation of branch-specific dispatches
- Branch rollouts and post-implementation support
- Testing
- Involved in development, re-engineering, maintenance and testing of the application
- Carried out 16 critical installations worldwide and for branch specific features. Currently carrying out developments and enhancements for each instance of the application
- Built web-logic integrator based interface to decouple front end of the system for each instance of the application
- Managing more than 1000 interfaces to various internal and external systems worldwide
- Built resource pool with niche skill sets such as Tandem and Atlas architecture to cater to future business demand
