- SilverStream Application Server is not used widely in the market. The front-end of TESS was developed in proprietary SilverStream Pages technology. This has been migrated to JSP now.
- Solution Provided: Maintenance based on ASM model
- Resources were trained on SilverStream which was used as the Application Server before BeA Weblogic
- Skill Profile: J2EE/JSP/Java/Struts 1.1/SQL Server
- The application was taken over completely in 12 weeks
- Migrated the GUI from SilverStream Pages to JSP which reduced technical issues faced due to the proprietary nature of the application
- Migrated the Server Code from SilverStream to BeA Weblogic, the latest as per technical standards
- Optimum resource utilization and ability to ramp-up resources. Client saw benefits due to this in the Infrastructure Upgrade project
- Added Reporting feature to the overall functionalities of the product
- Prepared complete functional and technical documentation which has made the delivery more process driven
- Reduced annual cost of maintaining the application.
