Business Need
The client was in urgent need of transforming its old spreadsheet based modeling and processing operations to a web-based Interpreted Scripting Modeling Language system based operations to support the ABS Deals in North America. The client wanted to improve the efficiency and sales & liquidity by immediate and simultaneous access to deals and provision of analysis of Structures by clients at all phases (pre-issuance and issuance) without relying on other vendors to reverse and distribute the structure respectively.
HCL Solution
HCL is transitioning the existing Operations for Deal Models and Tax-Processing from the spreadsheet platform to the web-based platform adapted by the client; HCL is also using the same platform for creation of models for new deals.
- Operations include complex Cash Flow Modeling of Structured deals, Deal Validation & Processing and Tax Processing
- Experience in handling operations for complex processes like Analytic Modeling, Data and Tax Processing and does around 1400 deals, $ 1.5 Billion and 15 new models each month
