The customer is one of the leading Life Insurers offering a comprehensive portfolio of Life Insurance and Annuity products, including Universal Life, Variable Life, Term life, fixed and variable annuities and a variety of equity products.
Business Context
The customer was using a legacy "Quote Wizard" application for administering sales quotes from a single dealer and limited number of agents registered with that dealer. The legacy application supported only one product, (Term Life). This limited the flexibility that the company wanted, in selling additional products as well as having multiple dealers/agents.
