  Our NPI services are broadly divided into three phases:
  • Concept/Idea Generation
    Under this phase, we take care of all the initial design requirements from feasibility studies, styling analysis, packaging study to concept generation and preliminary proof-of-concept. With in-house Product designers, trained in India’s premier design institutes, we provide recommendations in your existing products and ideas for a new product launch.
  • Design & Development
    This phase focuses on Cabling, Piping & Routing schematics, Engineering Drawing Creation / Conversion, Detailed Design of Assemblies and components, Tolerance Stack Calculations, Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing, DFx & DFMEA, and CAE – Meshing/Analysis (including Static, dynamic, fatigue, NVH, rigid body, crash, thermal, CFD analysis, Simulation). HCL is a leader in domain specific reliability analysis services.
  • NPI implementation and Manufacturing
    This phase spans from prototyping and tool designing to testing of products. With manufacturing in our DNA, we have domain specific expertise in designing of mechanical products. We have India’s first NABL-certified testing lab that support the prototype initiative and help us identify and correct any error at the initial stages of prototyping. With a huge pool of expert engineers, we cater the requirements of transfer of technology even to our customers’ customers. Our in-house low volume manufacturing capabilities takes your product directly to manufacturing stage thereby saving significant transition time. We also have EMS tie-ups for Medium & High volume manufacturing.
• Active Product Support
  After launching of the final product, our active product support services offer support at L1/2/3 level, Field Implementation and Training, Engineering Change Management (ECO/FCO), and Design Maintenance.
