Business Need

The client required to standardize the process of data cleansing. They also needed to sort the existing data to prevent entry of inconsistent data into the systems.

HCL's Solution

HCL was provided access to client's legacy systems and e-commerce applications which helped to identify gaps in the process and the probable root cause of the data mismatch and data inconsistency. This helped to analyze and plan the data entry through various entry points and processes and recommend process re-engineering and improvements. HCL also provided an alternate view of customer centric approach to the present policy centric database. This helped to clear inconsistencies in the data while also blocking future entry of inconsistent data.

Results

The above approach helped in achieving accurate and synchronized data across plans while maximizing data integrity. It also helped to bring about high performance and scalability.
