The Challenge

• The customer has a portal framework called ‘E-advantage’ to address the growing needs of delivering e-business solutions across its operating companies.
• Customer is committed to upgrade this framework. The current platform is Release 2a on which the port solutions are working. Migration of 150 applications to Release 3 platform required.

HCL’s Solution

• HCL used its tested application migration methodology which is a step-by-step approach to carry out migration.
• A scaled-down environment of source and target environment is set up offshore to host the source and migrate applications.
• For each application, standard steps were followed along with the customization required to migrate to new environment
