Business Aligned IT Framework
HCL deploys the Business Aligned IT (BAIT) framework to discover evaluate and rationalize the customer's IT landscape, and achieve alignment to his business objectives. HCL uses a proprietary Enterprise Discovery Framework (EDFTM 3.0) to facilitate enterprise discovery and consequently mapping of business processes to IT applications. The business impact of BAIT manifests in increased IT visibility and availability leading to better planning, reduced redundancy, enhanced processes and cost efficiency through superior business-IT alignment.
HCL uses the BAIT framework in its entirety in a typical Total Outsourcing (TOS) situation in which HCL assumes responsibility for the complete IT portfolio and services.
