Conference IDC "Infrastructure IT & Cloud Computing"
Data centers are the core issues of business and IT service providers. They must meet the requirements of quality of service - availability, security, performance - because they are the ones that support enterprise applications, whether critical or not. The move to cloud computing, presented as a response to the issues of flexibility and cost control, does not absolve companies meet all of these challenges. Quite the contrary. The private cloud is a new step processing Datacenters, a step that requires to go further in the modernization of infrastructure. The Datacenter "cloudifié" becomes a highly automated set, even more complex environments that must federate servers, storage and networking to reveal the expected performance levels. Governance of such a set is itself a major challenge, strengthened by the need for new skills, whether internal or external to the ISD.
