2.Service Lead for WebMethods/GXS role involves managing and maintaining critical applications within the ASM framework:-
1.Application Support: Provide leadership in various service operation processes, including Webmethods and Gateway related incident management , configuration management, change management, release management, and applications support of documentation for SOP based resolutions and other key related integration issues.
2.Technical Expertise: API Gateways: features, components, and architecture; Integration and WebMethods :configuration and manage SOAP-based APIs, REST APIs, and WebSocket APIs; Security and Governance: security practices , OAuth2, API keys, and access control .
3.Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and shell scripting (Linux).
4.Tools:Experience with SOAP UI and SQL Developer.
5.Networking Protocols: Understanding of protocols like TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, and AS2, including certificate-based transmission.
Desired skills:
1. API Gateway Knowledge:
- Expertise on the fundamentals of API Gateway. Familiarization with its features, components, and architecture.
- Expertise in create, manage, and secure APIs using the API Gateway user interface.
- Expertise on topics like SOAP to REST transformation, policy enforcement, and message transformation.
2. Integration and WebMethods Skills:
- Proficiency in webMethods Integration Server. Understanding of how it integrates with API Gateway.
- Proficiency in configuration and manage SOAP-based APIs, REST APIs, and WebSocket APIs.
- Proficiency in routing policies, load balancing, and message transformation within API Gateway.
3. Security and Governance:
- Master security practices for APIs. Understanding of concepts like OAuth2, API keys, and access control.
- Familiarization with threat protection mechanisms and how to secure APIs from malicious attacks.
4. Documentation and SOPs:
- Strong documentation skills. Create clear, concise SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for issue resolutions.
- Document common resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
5. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to integration, APIs, and gateway components.
- Understanding of how to troubleshoot P1/P2 integration issues effectively.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
- Works well with cross-functional teams. Collaborates with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Communicates technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Database Knowledge:
- Experience working with at least one RDBMS system (such as Oracle or SQL Server) for data integration and storage.
8.Security Management:
- Ability to handle security aspects related to WebMethods/GXS applications.
- Familiarity with security protocols and practices.
9.Deployment and CI/CD:
- Proficiency in deployment processes, local service development, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CICD) practices.
10.Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of APIGEE, Java, and Kafka is a plus.
- Understanding of WebMethods integration with mainframe systems, Salesforce, or Google Cloud.
- To architect, design and develop [through team] solution for product or sustenance delivery.
- To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
- To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
