Insights & News
"For products that were already supported by HCL, we’ve heard from their customers that they have seen a positive impact, specifically around improved feature backlogs and road maps. We expect that story to continue for other IBM customers who are now part of the expanded HCL portfolio."
Allen Bonde, Vice President, Research Director, Forrester
"Through the two-year IP-partnerships with IBM, HCL has gained experience with the software and has, for instance, issued new releases of both Notes (the first release for five years) and Unica (the first release for three years) to the great joy of the customers, according to HCL. Thus, the company has a clear understanding of what it will take to modernize the software packages to make them even more attractive and competitive in the market. HCL is aware this is not a one-off investment, and it is already launching road maps that it discusses with customers."

“I am super excited for this .. all of the tech I have worked with over the last 20 years from an IBM standpoint is in this list – I am especially excited about the future of Commerce. I spend 8 happy years as a WebSphere Commerce admin and consultant and it is still my favorite product to work with (I may need to brush up on some commerce skills now) .. We have already seen the positive impact of HCL working with Notes and Domino and the new products they are spinning out of it (HCL Places being one of them). I have high hopes for Connections, Commerce and Portal – I am really looking forward to seeing what the future will hold.”
