A part of Hong Kong conglomerate operating over 6,200 retail stores in health and beauty, luxury perfumeries and cosmetics to food, electronics, fine wine, and airport retail arms.

Business Challenge

  • Customer BUs across the regions—Asia and Europe—have their own retail outlets. There is also a centralized buying division “International Buying Department” situated in Asia that does the buying for the products for all these regional BUs
  • This complete buying process was being handled via mails, Excel files, etc., with no automation, consolidation, or integration to other systems. This was leading to ineffective management of processes with no centralized control

  • Developed a secure, easy-to-use Web-based system to automate and improve the complete purchasing process between the various regional BUs, International Buying Department and their suppliers.
  • Integration with the Purchase Order System, thus providing a complete process flow automation starting from the products being sold by the supplier ,orders taken by BUs, confirmed by International Buying Department
