Digital Workplace Strategy
What is digital workplace strategy?

According to Gartner, the greatest source of competitive advantage for 30% of organizations will come from the workforce’s ability to creatively exploit digital technologies. And that’s why a solid digital workplace strategy becomes crucial as digital workplace transformation is key to business success. But what is a digital workplace? Gartner defines the digital workplace as the one that enables new, more effective ways of working, raises employee engagement and agility, and exploits consumer-oriented styles and technologies. So, a digital workplace strategy is aimed at building a productive and collaborative workplace through consumerization of workplace technology i.e. bringing together data, apps, information, and collaboration tools into the work environment.

The digital workplace strategy should align with business and digital transformation goals for organizational success. The leadership must establish a roadmap and blueprint for coordinating digital workplace initiatives. The C-suite must become the driving force in implementing these changes enterprise-wide from top down. Without the support and involvement of the entire C-suite, such programs can’t thrive.
