The whitepaper proposes a new design for the validation phase of Network CLI automation. The traditional automation approach to validation of a test case, is CLI specific resulting in redundancy, high development and maintenance costs of automation. The new design proposes a ML-based validation mechanism, which classifies the output values into different data categories, with generic default validation of each of them. As they are not specific to any particular CLI or its output format, it can be applied to many different products, software releases. And hence it reduces the development and maintenance costs of the automation.
