Anoop Tiwari

Senior Corporate Vice President, Digital Process Operations

Anoop Tiwari is a Senior Corporate Vice President, Digital Process Operations (DPO) at HCL Technologies. His focus is to evangelize and lead initiatives across go-to-market, proposition/solution development, client acquisition, and service delivery that drives growth, capability, and differentiation.

Under his leadership, the DPO unit has successfully transformed into a digital operations business, making it one of the fastest-growing organizations in the BPO industry. In a short span, it has doubled its size, gained significant market share against global competition, and clocked industry-leading CSAT on the back of a mega-deal engine powered by creative engagement constructs, industrialized global delivery, and digital CoEs. Currently, the DPO manages large, billion-dollar-plus engagements, including one of the largest capital market JVs carved out to create a GBS and multiple co-innovation labs with its customers. Being a visionary, Anoop has brought in a digital transformation culture within the DPO, delivering several patents, IPs, and platforms by leveraging a global partner ecosystem and leading academia, such as MIT. He played a pivotal role in the rapid expansion of the DPO’s global delivery centers, employing a diverse and local talent pool.

Besides DPO, Anoop has played several other crucial roles in his 30+ years’ journey with HCL. He led the Enterprise Performance Office, a quasi-consulting and corporate development organization driving HCL’s growth, market competitiveness, and financial and risk assurance, enabling it to meet and exceed targets. He enabled the creation of the roadmap to the digital service lines and incubated Digital, IoT, and the Automation taskforces that have now grown into multi-billion businesses. He also spearheaded diverse multi-billion organic and inorganic transactions—the key ones being one of the largest acquisitions and integrations of AXON, and the carveout and acquisition of a European automobile company. He not only spearheaded the acquisition but also evolved it by transforming its solutions and services stacks to a new-age digital business.

Anoop has also anchored the CIO function, laying the digital foundation, especially around HCL’s cloud adoption strategy and various CX and productivity initiatives. The large-scale internal digital adoption was achieved during his tenure.

Anoop has degrees in Physics and Law, and lives with his wife and two sons in Cupertino, California.
