Role Description
Global Deployment Services is a technical engineering team providing hands-on capability to execute work according to the approved change(s). The Global Deployment Services team is organized into data center, routing and switching, WLAN, IPT, Security , and Contact Center sub-teams. Each sub-team resource must have broad exposure to related technologies with advanced experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of routing, switching, communications, and peripheral equipment associated with globally connected networks. Responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering multiple vendor systems. Ensure quality customer service providing support to a varied user community. From time to time, the Global Deployment Services team will be expected to troubleshoot/resolve issues should they arise. Global Deployment Services resources are highly experienced and qualified resources who can think on their feet and work according to customer processes and guidelines.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities i. Adhering to SLAs
ii. Mentoring / Training Team Members
iii. Handling tickets / requests
iv. Perform root cause analysis
v. Troubleshooting technical issues
vi. Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to
vii. Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
viii. Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
ix. Understanding of Multi-geo support environment
x. Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment
xi. Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction
xii. Suggests new technologies and design changes
xiii. Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members
xiv. Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time
xv. Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating

Qualifications
i. 5+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment
ii. Extensive hands-on technical skills to cover installation, configuration, administration and advanced troubleshooting of data networks in large enterprise that includes Wired & Wireless
iii. Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) Perform root cause analysis
iv. Able to handle high pressure
v. Experience on Cisco (Routers/Switches)
vi. Experience on Wireless technologies Cisco, Aruba to Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
vii. Should Knowledge on Cisco & Meraki Products
viii. Should have experience in Cisco Meraki switches MS100, MS200, MS300, MS400
ix. Should have experience in Cisco Meraki MX100, MX84 MX250, MX450
x. Should have experience in Cisco Meraki WLC/Access point
xi. Experience installing and troubleshooting Meraki Wi-Fi networks
xii. Handling troubleshooting calls related with Routing, Switching, Wireless, Meraki & VPN
xiii. Good hands-on experience with OS upgrades of different vendors devices.
xiv. knowledge of load Balancers & Optimizers, Riverbed
xv. knowledge of DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions
xvi. Hands on technologies like IP addressing schema, VLSM, DHCP, DNS etc.
xvii. Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting complex layer 2 technologies such as VLAN Trunks, VTP Ether channel, STP, RSTP and MST.
xviii. Excellent NOC Troubleshooting, analyzing & managing the critical Incidents, Problem tickets with out of the box thought process
xix. Experience on any cloud technologies or SDN technologies will be an add
