As a Delivery Manager (Data Warehouse Projects), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of data warehouse projects. This position is crucial for ensuring that our projects align with strategic objectives and adhere to industry standards. You will manage complex engagements, collaborate with senior business leaders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Role/Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Application Development and Support services for the client.
- Coordinate with the Enterprise Program Management Office to execute programs following defined standards and governance structure.
- Interface regularly with key senior business leaders to enable smooth transitions from strategy development to program identification and execution.
- Facilitate meetings with task groups or functional areas as required for EPMO-supported initiatives and/or to resolve issues.
- Lead post-implementation reviews of major initiatives to provide lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop accurate and timely summary reports for executive management.
- Collaborate with business owners to develop divisional business plans that support the overall strategic direction.
- Support the budget allocation process through ongoing financial tracking reports.
- Develop and maintain service plans considering customer requirements.
- Track and monitor adherence to SLA/KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to the service delivery process.
- Address service delivery issues, escalations, and complaints.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for customer escalations.
- Oversee shift management for various tracks.
- Publish production support reports and metrics.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in managing the delivery of Data Warehouse Projects (Development & Modernization/Migration).
- Strong delivery background with experience in managing large complex Data Warehouse engagements.
- Extensive experience in Program/Project Management, Iterative, Waterfall, and Agile Methodologies.
- Ability to track and manage complex program budgets.
- Experience in managing the delivery of complex programs to meet the needs and required timelines.
- Experience in building teams, providing guidance, and promoting cross-training within the department.
- Experience in developing and managing integrated program plans incorporating both technical and business deliverables.
- Knowledge of Project Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Strong business acumen and political savvy.
- Ability to collaborate while dealing with complex situations.
- Ability to think creatively and drive innovation.
- Ability to motivate, lead, and inspire a diverse group to achieve a common goal with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to convert business strategy into action-oriented objectives and measurable results.
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and provide guidance to others.
Other Requirements (Optional)
- Experience with Snowflake, Matillion, DBT, Netezza/DataStage, and Oracle.
- Healthcare Payer Industry experience.
Kompensation & Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
