Design Lead with Design for Manuf & Assembly (DFMA),CAD Design Skills,Creo
Job Summary
In this role as Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes, utilizing CAD Design Skills, particularly Creo software. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective product design and development.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) initiatives within the organization
2. Utilize cad design skills to create detailed product designs and engineering drawings
3. Implement and optimize design processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support product development from concept to production
5. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
6. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement through dfma analysis
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cad design and engineering software
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) principles and methodologies
2. Strong cad design skills with expertise in creo software
3. Solid understanding of product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Certifications: Relevant certifications in CAD design and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly are a plus.
