Senior Technical Lead - NLP

Job Summary
This role is accountable for developing and optimizing machine learning solutions focused on natural language processing, leveraging advanced Python frameworks and distributed technologies. The individual applies advanced proficiency in model evaluation, data engineering, and scalable deployment to deliver robust, high-impact analytics and automation for complex business needs.

• Key Responsibilities
  1. Apply advanced proficiency in Python, NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn to preprocess text data, engineer features, and build robust machine learning pipelines for NLP applications.
  2. Design, train, and evaluate NLP models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, and SpaCy, implementing supervised and unsupervised learning techniques for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
  3. Utilize Spark and Kafka for distributed data processing and real-time streaming, ensuring scalable ingestion and transformation of large text datasets.
  4. Implement rigorous model evaluation using cross-validation, ROC/AUC, Precision/Recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix to assess and optimize model performance.
  5. Integrate and automate ML workflows with Apache Airflow, supporting end-to-end deployment and monitoring of NLP solutions in production environments.
  6. Collaborate within the development team to share technical insights, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the adoption of best practices and coding standards in machine learning and NLP projects.
  7. Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new NLP initiatives, recommending suitable architectures, frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  
  Skill Requirements
  1. Advanced Proficiency In Machine Learning And Natural Language Processing, Including Deep Learning Techniques.
  2. Solid Experience With Python And Libraries Such As Numpy, Pandas, Scikitlearn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Nltk, And Spacy.
  3. Advanced Knowledge Of Distributed Computing Using Apache Spark And Realtime Data Streaming With Kafka.
  4. Strong Skills In Ml Model Evaluation Metrics And Techniques, Including Crossvalidation, Roc/Auc, Precision/Recall, F1Score, And Confusion Matrix.
