職務内容:
1. Open Position & It s Requirements:
o There are two open positions: 1- Bangalore and 1- Montreal . The positions require candidates with intermediate Python skills (Must have), Unix knowledge (must have), and ServiceNow( Good to have) experience.
o The role is not a full-fledged development role but an SRE role. Candidates should have experience in incident management, Defect reduction automation, and building dashboards using Python APIs.
o The ideal candidate should have intermediate Python skills and knowledge of ServiceNow.
o Ensure candidates are aware that the positions are not remote and require working in the office three days a week
o Consider candidates with 4+ years of experience if they have strong technical skills but preferred 7+ years experience.
2. Python Usage:
o Python is extensively used for scripting and automation tasks. It is used to monitor the health of ServiceNow instances and other systems.
o The team is building monitoring dashboards and metrics to proactively identify issues. Python scripts are used to call ServiceNow APIs and gather metrics.
3. Automation and Monitoring:
o The team is working on automating various tasks related to incident management, problem management, and change management. They aim to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
o ServiceNow's TIE library is being used to code in Python and deploy scripts on ServiceNow instances.
4. Collaboration and Frameworks:
o The team collaborates with the managed stack team within ITSM to build monitoring dashboards. They leverage the framework provided by the managed stack team, which interacts with Dynatrace.
o The team is not directly interacting with Dynatrace but uses the framework provided by the managed stack team.
- To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
- To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction thorugh active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
- To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
- To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
- To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
