Job Summary

Job description:

"F5 certified preferred

8 years of demonstrated experience in F5-Big IP in the variuos modules like .,

ASM/WAF (Web Application Firewall Module),
LTM (Local Traffic Manager/proxy/loadbalancer),
DNS/GTM (Global Traffic Manager),
APM( Access Policy Manager ) required.

Hands on experience on Routing/Switching concepts, protocols like BGP, OSPF and LAN Concepts

Detailed responsibilities on F5:
Deployment and configuration of various F5 modules such as BIGIP LTM,GTM,ASM,APM,BIG-IQ etc
Installation of GTM level -intelligent DNS service using f5
Hosting an application URL using LTM module-with user defined settings, profiles etc
Configuration of irules based upon the requirements
Adding the WEB security using WAF module for the backend applications using f5 as a service
Adding WAF security policy to mitigate OWASP top 10 attacks
Providing the remote authentication, SSL VPN, portal Access, SSO,SAML using APM module
Creating applications using iAPPS
create virtualization of the physical chassis based on the security zones ( vCMP )
Provide SOE document (software perspective)
Provide SOE document (configuration perspective)
Load balancing configurations such as Addition/Deletion as per the requirements
Hosting and managing ZONES on F5 DNS( GTM ) , includes WIDE-IP, types of Records, DNS EXPRESS, DNSSEC
Implementation of Security features like Brute force attacks, DDOS, Ip Intelligence using WAF solutions
identifying the RCA which causes hindrances in operational activities
Data group implementations using file management services on LTM f5
proactive check using scanning for vulnerabilities
Planning for mitigations( based on severity )
Proactive monitoring of incidents in order to achieve the SLA
Service Level Management functions
Documentation skills (Visio for architecture and network diagrams)

  • To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
  • To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
  • To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
  • To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
  • To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
  • Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
