Main Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development, ideally within HVAC systems.
• 3+ years of proven project leadership or management experience.
• Strong understanding of ASPICE Level 2 and functional safety (ISO 26262) standards.
• Cross-cultural communication skills and experience working with Japanese business practices.
• Hands-on experience with PLM tools, preferably Windchill.
• Solid knowledge of automotive electronic control systems and HVAC unit architecture.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2+), English, and Chinese (preferred).

Details:

• Lead and manage end-to-end development of automotive HVAC design projects.
• Gather and analyze client requirements, and coordinate design efforts with offshore and onshore teams.
• Define and monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with international suppliers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issue resolution.
