Technical Support Specialist - Fab Services
Job Summary
This role is pivotal in delivering high-level technical support within the Fab Services domain. The Technical Support Specialist will troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and enhance operational efficiency, thereby ensuring seamless support for end-users and maintaining the integrity of IT resources.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot And Resolve Critical And Complex Technical Issues Within Fab Services, Utilizing Advanced Diagnostic Tools And Methodologies To Ensure Minimal Disruption To Operations.
2. Conduct Thorough Root Cause Analysis For Critical Faults And Incidents, Employing Hands-On Techniques To Identify Underlying Issues And Recommend Effective Solutions.
3. Implement Necessary Preventive Measures And Best Practices To Minimize Future Defects, Leveraging Insights Gained From Past Incidents To Enhance System Reliability.
4. Provide Expert Technical Guidance And Support To Team Members, Fostering A Collaborative Environment To Resolve Customer Issues Effectively And Efficiently.
5. Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives Within The Support Team, Analyzing Performance Metrics And Feedback To Enhance Service Delivery And Operational Effectiveness.Skill Requirements
1. Expert Knowledge In Fab Services And Associated Technologies.
2. Proficiency In Troubleshooting Complex It Issues With A Strong Understanding Of Diagnostic Tools And Processes.
3. Excellent Analytical Skills For Conducting Root Cause Analysis And Implementing Preventive Measures.
4. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Effective Collaboration With Team Members And End-Users.
5. Ability To Lead Continuous Improvement Efforts And Drive Performance Enhancements.Certification
1. Relevant Certifications Such As Itil Foundation Or Equivalent Are Optional But Valuable.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
