You will be responsible for building back end solutions using TypeScript and Javascript, while aslo managing Linux based infrastructuire with tools like Ansible, Bash and Powershell. You will design CI/CD pipelines, automet workflows and act as a technical consultant - advising customers, collabortating cross-functional teams and ensuring solutions are well-documented and tested.

Responsibilities/ Tasks

• You will be building backend solutions most of which are based on TypeScript and/or object-oriented JavaScript. Those are to be used in large-scale data centers (think millions of virtual machines).
• For Linux OS-level configuration, you will be using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell. With infrastructure as code principles you will be engineering CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, and services such as load balancer as a service, database as a service, … anything as a service.
• We would consider people with higher level of experience from various development backgrounds: Java, .NET, Python, NodeJS.
• You will act as a consultant to the customer by understanding and fulfilling their requirements, while communicating clearly (in English) with architects, developers, DevOps, quality engineers and project managers. Your solutions should be following best practices, be well tested and documented.
• You would advise customers on technical topics on pre-sales calls. You could take part in technical interviews and mentoring less-senior developers.

Education/certification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Key Skills Required 

• Strong experience with 2 or more of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, C#, Python, Go, Angular, React
• Experience with 1 or some of: RDBMS - Oracle, Microsoft, MySQL, No-SQL
• Experience with Message Queues, Service Brokers
• Experience / knowledge in External Storages - SAN, NAS, LUNs
• Experience with Linux OS - bash, Windows - Powershell, cmd
• Experience with APIs, REST, SOAP, RPC
• Senior-to-Lead level with broad software engineering & customer facing consulting experience.
• Full-stack experience with both OOP (Java and Python) and scripting (TypeScript or NodeJS).
• Solid experience in enterprise systems integrations and web services (SOAP, REST).
• Deep knowledge in cloud infrastructure, DevOps (CI/CD), Ansible, Linux, networking & security.
• VMware product & APIs exposure would be a plus.Understanding of virtual IT production data center, experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and experience with Kubernetes would be a plus.
