Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and development of medium to large scale feeds using Informatica.
• Understand the current ETL processes and contribute towards development tasks
• Enhance and customize the processes as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of developers or work independently as the situation demands
• Conform to Informatica workflow and mapping standards so development is consistent across all development resources
• Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4 -7 years of proven experience in design and development of Data Warehouse and ETL(Informatica) Solutions. Experince into Hadoop developemne is mandatory. Well experienced with preparing the design documents for mapping and creating ETL specifications as per the customer requirements.
• Experienced in creating Unit Test Cases for mapping and code reviews.
• Develop mappings, mapplets and create various transformations as per business rules.
• Develop extraction and loading processes in informatica workflows and create schedule jobs.
• Analysis of Defects, Change Request and worked enhancements as per user Requests.
• Good knowledge in unix shell scripts
• Good experience on SQL , PLSQL programming.
• Good knowledge in Data warehouse and data modeling concepts.
