Job Summary
The Sr. Oracle Administrator plays a critical role in providing advanced technical support and operations management for Oracle Exadata and Database Administration. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality service delivery, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining a secure and efficient operational environment. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and collaboration across support teams to enhance overall service quality.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements While Implementing Company Policies In Oracle Exadata And Database Administration Environments.
2. Provide Advanced Support For Complex Incidents Escalated By Analysts, Conducting Thorough Root Cause Analysis, And Implementing Effective Solutions To Resolve Technical And Security Issues.
3. Engage In Knowledge Base Updates And Management By Documenting Solutions, Training New Team Members, And Coaching Analysts To Enhance Team Capabilities.
4. Resolve Complex Tickets Within Agreed Slas By Collaborating With Cross-Functional Support Teams, Ensuring Seamless Operations And Maintaining A Robust Security Posture.
5. Ensure A Positive Customer Experience And High Csat Scores By Achieving First Call Resolution, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions, And Proactively Addressing Potential Security Threats.
Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Oracle Exadata And Database Administration.
2. Strong Understanding Of Troubleshooting Methodologies And Root Cause Analysis Techniques.
3. Familiarity With Incident Management Tools And Ticketing Systems.
4. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Facilitate Effective Collaboration With Team Members And Stakeholders.
5. Solid Knowledge Of Security Best Practices Related To Database Operations.
Certification
1. Oracle Certified Professional (Ocp) In Oracle Database Administration Is Optional But Valuable.
