Responsibilities/ Tasks
• Work according to routines in responsibility for quality, efficiency, and security
• Carry out installation and maintenance of standard products of infrastructure and/or applications in accordance with standardized routines
• Monitor and analysis performance and capacity of the servers
• Vendor and event management
• Participate in carrying out operational measurements and resolve the majority of escalated incidents
• Contribute to input to Service
• Monitoring and Service Desk in all aspects regarding Event Management and Incident Management
• Contribute to input to the Service Runtime Management function with focus on optimizing services
• Suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality and security requirements or installation of Products in runtime environment
• Responsible for carrying out operational measurements
• Take part in contributing with knowledge within projects, reviews etc., as well as problem localization and resolution regarding infrastructure and/or applications.
• Ensure that all operation changes are performed by following the Change Management Process.
• Support in Product planning activities. Creating, planning, coordinating Change activities as per defined processes.
• Manage disks, Filesystem
Package, Patch management (installation, remove, verify)
Log file verification
User, group management
Disk mirroring knowledge, Raid
Education/certification
Bachelor's Degree
Key Skills Required
• At least 4-5 years of related infrastructure experience required
• Experience in Linux installation, setup, runtime operational support, troubleshooting
• Linux L3 administration skills
• Linux Cluster skills (additional)
• Redhat Puppet Knowledge
• Redhat LDAP Skills
• Redhat Satellite Skills
• Knowledge on Ansible
• Excellent English language skills and ready work in 24X7 rotational shifts
• Programming (Perl, Unix shell) would be considered as advantage
