Main Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of Project Lead or Project Management experience
• JLPT N2 or higher certification
• Must hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years working experience in design verification in electromechanical or medical device projects
• Knowledge of materials and mechanical design is a plus
• Alternatively, experience with electronics design and analog circuits is also an advantage
• Understanding of IEC, EMC, and other relevant safety standards
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English
• Willingness to commute or relocate to Aizu region
• Experience of processes and regulatory standards involved in medical device development projects
• Business level English communication skills
• Business level Japanese language skills (JLPT N2+)

Details:

• Work as a Project Manager/Lead, collaborating with the customer to plan, track, and manage project activities
• Facilitate smooth communication between the Japanese customer and offshore teams (Japanese ↔ English)
• Create and maintain weekly/monthly project status reports
• Understand and interpret technical requirements, gather specifications, and deliver solutions accordingly
• Ensure delivery quality through active engagement in design verification processes
• Guide and mentor engineering teams to achieve project milestones on time and within scope
• Stay updated with new technologies and apply best practices to meet safety and compliance standards (IEC, EMC, etc.)
