Continuing our leadership in the ER&D Services space, HCL has once again been recognized as the leader in Zinnov’s latest competitive benchmarking report on Engineering R&D Services. For this study, Zinnov evaluated 50 global ER&D service providers across 30+ parameters and sub-parameters. HCL has further strengthened its leadership position as compared to previous year
Sidhant Rastogi, Partner & Global Head at Zinnov, said “HCL's strong legacy engineering heritage coupled with its ability to provide full stack services across different domains for engineering services has helped fortify its position as a leader in the Zinnov Zones ER&D 2019 ratings. Its vertical and offerings led acquisitions (Sankalp, H&D, Actian, Butler) have helped improve client reach in specific geographies as well. The firm has increased investments in building capabilities across new age areas such as AI and IoT through the set-up of innovation labs and COEs in the last 2 years. Its increase in software-led engineering services contracts and IoT deals have helped achieve above industry average growth rates”
Apart from HCL’s leadership position in the overall ER&D ranking, HCL has also secured leadership position in multiple horizontals, namely, Design and Simulation, User Experience, Platform Engineering and Quality Assurance. In the verticals, HCL was placed amongst the leaders in Automotive, Aerospace, Construction & Heavy Machinery, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Software, Industrial Automation, Enterprise Software, Medical Devices, Semiconductor, Telecommunication and Transport.
