It plays a key role in services such as wearable activation, eSIM transfer, phone number verification, RCS activation and more. DEG serves as a centralized and secure gateway that bridges devices, applications, core networks and OSS/BSS systems. It simplifies how service entitlements are managed—whether per user or per device—by acting as a smart access point into the carrier’s infrastructure.
