But as the pandemic extended and the end became fuzzier, point solutions that were geared for different purposes were quickly extended to fit the need of the hour, as media companies scrambled to meet the increased demand or stem the dramatic loss of revenue. This has impacted the product evolution journeys of many solutions and will continue to influence alliances and acquisitions in the months to come.
