Hyper video is just that - for hyper active millennial who cannot wait to consume information. Or in simpler terms - it's clickable video. As Hyper Text allows you to navigate different pages by embedding links, Hyper-Video allows you to navigate through videos or web pages. The concept has been in R & D stages for quite a while now, and a niche industry is dabbling with advertising through Hyper Video. Product placements are nothing but subtle advertisements today which a viewer has to remember and look for later. However, in the realm of hyper video, a viewer would be able to get information right when he is watching a video by clicking on a product placement embedded as part of the scene. The implications can be far reaching right, from Educative videos to TV Series. Technologies such as HTML5 are enabling developers to create more and more Hyper Video content. However, the players need to allow the user to click videos and navigate.
