Speaker: Sam Bowtell, Sales and Sales Leadership, CommBank
Sam Bowtell works for CommBank. After 15 years in sales and sales leadership, Sam joined CommBank and ran many large technology transformation projects over ten years, the last 4 years being in Agile and scrum. In his current role, he runs the Agile Practise for CommBank’s Wealth Management division, leading a team of Agile coaches helping project teams deliver their work faster and more effectively using Agile. He is also a leadership coach, facilitator and runs many team building days.

In the community Sam is involved in some skilled volunteering with OzHarvest, looking at how they can use the Agile mindset and scrum practices to improve how they run their operations.

Speaker: Peter Jacobs, Chief Information Officer and board member of ING Bank Netherlands
Peter Jacobs is Chief Information Officer and board member of ING Bank Netherlands. He is responsible for all application development and maintenance activities within the bank in the Netherlands. Scope includes customer data, lending, mortgages, payments, savings, branches, call centers, internet and ING mobile banking.

Prior to joining ING, Peter was an associate partner for McKinsey&Company in Amsterdam with a strong focus on Strategy, Mergers & Acquisition and Operations & IT.

Peter holds a Ph.D. (2005, cum laude) in Systems Engineering from Delft University of Technology. His research was on the development of distributed simulation languages for mathematical simulation modeling.
