HCL Technologies (HCL), a leading global technology company, was named a Leader by Everest Group in its PEAK Matrix® on Network Transformation and Managed Service Providers 2021 and its Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2021.

“HCL's proactive investments in next-generation network capabilities and strong focus on driving large scale/complex network transformations has helped enterprises stay ahead in the digital economy,” said Kalyan Kumar, Chief Technology Officer and Head, Ecosystems, HCL Technologies. “Our leadership position across both the global reports is a testimony and endorsement of our capability to meet expectations across growing range of network value chain and service orchestration. The winning combination of our extensive partnership ecosystem and comprehensive edge to cloud network portfolio have strengthened HCL’s leadership in the global MNS market.”

In its Network Transformation and Managed Services report, Everest Group said HCL stands poised to embrace the current ecosystem with a vision for the coming decade of technology-driven disruption, which is technology for the next decade today. It strives toward delivering “network transformation as a digital foundation” with an unwavering focus on creating customer value – going beyond expectations, effectively taking the relationship beyond the contract.

“HCL Technologies has made credible investments in developing solutions and verticalized use cases for next generation network services, such as private 5G, IoT/edge networks and WiFi-6,” said Mukesh Ranjan, Practice Director, Everest Group. “Clients appreciate HCL Technologies for its domain and technical expertise, which enables end-to-end network transformation. These capabilities have helped HCL Technologies retain a Leader position on Everest Group’s 2021 Network Transformation and Managed Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment.”

The report further noted HCL’s verticalized cases for SDN, edge networks and IoT act as key differentiators in the market and clients appreciate its domain and technical expertise that allows it to provide seamless end-to-end network transformation services.

The SD-WAN Services report states that HCL Technologies can help enterprises with end-to-end managed SD-WAN and co-managed SD-WAN services. It has extensive partnerships with telecom service providers across different regions to support global deployments and it leverages integrations with leading SD-WAN platforms.

“HCL Technologies has developed proprietary architectural frameworks to facilitate adoption of SD-WAN with dynamic path selection and reduced inter-provider connect,” Ranjan said. “Clients appreciate HCL Technologies’ vendor-agnostic approach and technical expertise. These have led to it being positioned as a Leader in the inaugural Everest Group’s 2021 Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment.”
