Application support and maintenance services for a specific set of retail platform applications:
- Used Agile Methodology to handle massive performance engineering activities
- Devised base lining & subsequent benchmarking strategy to isolate the potential performance bottlenecks and generate the best configuration for system scalability
- Created work-load with historical data analysis to simulate production system usage regarding usage pattern and scenarios, with user distribution server per minute
- Completed scripting to simulate the application behavior with a variety of mobile handsets and new as well as legacy devices through the browser strings
Business Benefits
- Implemented Orthogonal Array approach to reduce the number of scripts and increase the coverage for 100 different countries and 1000+ products which includes new and old Products. In this way we simulated 20000+ unique requests as observed in production logs. Scripts count has reduced from 55 to 7 scripts with same Load model. Which ease us to maintain the scripts and achieve the desired goal. Also with this implementation we are able to achieve the 20000+ unique requests on target server.
- Analyzed real production logs of 6 months which helps us to formulate the real end user behavior load on the target application system.
