Volvo Ocean Race Terms & Conditions

By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions:

1. The contest is open to everyone aged 18 years or older in countries where Volvo Ocean Race 2017-18 has a port stop.
2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.
3. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
4. Last date for contest will be June 24, 2018. After this date, no further entries to the contest will be permitted.
5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
6. The rules of the contest and how to enter are as follows:
   1. HCLTech reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of HCLTech’ control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by HCLTech.
   2. HCLTech is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest.
   3. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Entrants may receive one of the many merchandize items available from the Volvo Ocean Race official merchandize stores. While best efforts will be made to source and deliver merchandize of the right size in case of apparel, these will be made available on a best effort basis.
   4. Winners will be chosen at random, from all entries received and verified.
   5. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
   6. HCLTech will notify the winner when and how the prize would be delivered.
   7. HCLTech’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   8. The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by Indian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
   9. Entry into the contest will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
7. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to HCLTech and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at
   /privacy-statement.
8. HCLTech will judge the contest and decide on the winner, which will be picked at random from all complete entries.
9. HCLTech’ decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the contest will be entered into.
10. HCLTech shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
11. HCLTech also reserves the right to cancel the contest if circumstances arise outside of its control.
