Balaji is a Business leader with experience in Vertical leadership (BFSI, Retail and Govt) and business development, Market Strategy, Domain Consulting and Project Management.
In his current role, Balaji manages HCLs BFSI business across Aus & NZ markets (incl. the largest customer in APAC). He leads over 2300+ consultants delivering services to customers in the region constituting approx 17%+ of global HCL BFSI strength with end-to-end accountability for all service lines incl. IT Consulting, Application management, Infra and BPO. As part of this role, he manages the overall P&L, business strategy, drives revenue growth with responsibility for Engagement health and customer satisfaction.
He is part of the Global BFSI leadership team responsible for formulating and executing vertical strategies. He also led HCL's recent alliance with CSC in Banking. He is also a Principal Executive in CXO Engagement Steering committees for large & complex programs.
Balaji has led many technology transformation and consulting initiatives across Retail, Business Banking and Wealth Management including process re-engineering, STP enablement and cost reduction. He has delivered complex IT projects and delivered large application transitions.
He leads large outsourcing bid responses, prepares IT Outsourcing / off shoring strategies along with formulation & delivery of RFP Technical solutions.
