Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coaching engineers in your team to design and implement secure, scalable, and impactful solutions.
• Delivering code and architecture to our AEM platform, lifting quality, security and delivery speed.
• Aligning practices across AEM squad and our Next.js squads.
• Developing a new integration allowing to use our Next.js to present AEM content. 
• Working at a senior level across the programme team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts.
• Self-organising your own priorities, you will facilitate rapid decision making for the team.
• Shaping how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology.
   

Experience/Exposure:

Your AEM knowledge should cover version 6.5 and the following aspects:
Java 1.8
Dispatcher configurations
AEM component development
OAK, JCR, Sling
AMS
AEM Cloud Service (Nice to have)

• Demonstrable web or application development experience including defining application architecture.
• Proven experience working with JavaScript and Java 1.8, into an AEM context.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
• Ability to demonstrate UI design literacy and a solid understanding of WCAG Accessibility 2.0, Level AA or higher.
• Experience with backend unit testing and familiarity with testing libraries
• Experience working in internationally distributed teams.
• Good ability in English

Nice to have:

• Experience in developing scalable batch/workflow processing applications using technologies like Temporal and Apache Airflow.
• Well understanding of the importance of secure codes, especially in the context of banking and finance.
• Familiarity with Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and other modern technologies such as Logging and Monitoring.
• Experience with automation testing (e.g. unit test, integration test and load test) and performance optimization.
• Experience mentoring junior/mid-level software engineers.
