With 5G going mainstream globally, HCLTech, a leading global technology company, announced today a new collaboration with Dell Technologies to accelerate telecom network modernization for communication service providers (CSPs) and enterprises.

As part of this collaboration, HCLTech will provide end-to-end system integration services for vRAN (virtualized radio access networks), ORAN (open radio access networks), private 5G networks and edge/multi-access edge computing deployments, including telecom network transformation, design, interoperability, optimization and managed services.

Dell Technologies will help CSPs modernize their network infrastructure to transform service delivery and simplify operations by performing platform integration services, including implementing engineered telecom cloud platforms, testing, automation and orchestration. Dell will also provide carrier-grade support and managed services designed for telecom operators and enterprises.

“Communication service providers are building open and disaggregated multi-cloud solutions with best-in-class components from various technology partners. We are delighted to deepen our partnership with Dell Technologies to bring together HCLTech’s system integration expertise and Dell Technologies’ telecom solutions to supercharge this network modernization journey," said Anand Swamy, Executive Vice President and Head of Tech OEM Ecosystems, HCLTech.

“It is critical to simplify the path to open, cloud-native networks and build a strong and open telecom ecosystem by integrating the various partners and technologies,” said Satish Iyer, Vice President and General Manager, Dell Technologies Emerging Services. “By combining Dell’s telecom multicloud capabilities and expanded services with HCLTech’s system integration expertise, we will help network operators simplify and accelerate modern network deployments, so they can deliver differentiated, revenue-generating services to customers.”

HCLTech and Dell Technologies are building on a 13-year relationship with numerous joint customers, thousands of trained and certified Dell Technologies professionals and a network of global innovation labs that support business growth.
