HCLTech GDCs are spread across the globe as part of HCLTech strategy of creating a differentiated, multi-tiered global delivery model comprising onshore, offshore, and near-shore capabilities offering measureable business impact, joint innovation, and real-time collaboration for clients worldwide.

HCLTech selected the RTP region in the North Carolina state due to its skilled workforce, strong educational network, and proximity to its US customer base. While Cary houses two other HCLTech facilities – one at 11000 Regency Parkway and the other in Durham, the Cary GDC runs out of 200, Lucent Lane in the Research Triangle Park (RTP).

The Research Triangle Park is one of the largest research parks in the world. It is located near Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. It caters to diversified sectors like Information Technology, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Smart Grid technology. RTP is home to over 190 companies employing 50,000 workers.

Today, the Cary GDC provides application development and maintenance, IT infrastructure management, English and Spanish Help Desk support, storage design and architecture services, SAP services, engineering services, and other consulting services for its US customers.
