Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing education and production usage.
• Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases. Closely with system administration / Infra staff to understand the landscape of the Oracle Physical Server and databases.
• Proactively monitoring the database's health and taking preventive or corrective action as required
• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support
• Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances.
• Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
• Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database"

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Manage User Role and Privileges and provide report for Database Audit
• Working knowledge on High availability in Oracle Environment– RAC, Dataguard, Clustering, Golden Gate, Replication
• Disaster Recovery Plan, Shell Scripting knowledge, Database Migration / Upgrades
• Standards based on user requirements using PL/SQL, , Oracle Forms/Reports, ADF Framework.
• Writing SQL, PL/SQL programs, Packages, Stored procedures, Functions and Triggers to automate the interface processes for daily/incremental loads.
