Roles and Responsibilities:
- Tune application SQL queries for performance optimization;
- Convert user stories into application logic; reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems;
- Load data into tables;
- Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary;
- Shadow write and optimize in-application SQL statements;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to take requirements documentation from end users;
- PL/SQL experience between 3 - 5 years;
- Experience using Oracle Packages;
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, in English;
- Knowledge of the banking industry desired;
- Knowledge of working in Oracle relational databases;
- SQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills;
- Understanding of both structured and unstructured data.
