Beyond operations, AI has become integral to how our functions innovate and execute. HCLTech is using AI in marketing as an end-to-end operating model across planning, execution, measurement and optimization. We have embedded AI across the marketing lifecycle from insight generation and proposition development to campaign orchestration and pipeline attribution. AI-enabled platforms, including HCLSoftware’s Unica, are integrated with enterprise systems and predictive analytics engines, delivering closed-loop measurement and direct attribution of marketing impact on pipeline.
During the year, we joined the AI Verify Foundation and signed the EU AI Pact, reinforcing our commitment to the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies. HCLTech was also the first organization to receive the Responsible AI Institute’s Organizational AI Governance Verification Badge. We released our Responsible AI Transparency Report, outlining the progress we have made in embedding Responsible AI across our organization and client engagements. The report details our governance model and how we operationalize accountability, fairness, security, privacy and transparency, aligned with global standards including the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.

Strengthening Full-stack Ecosystem Partnerships
HCLTech continues to collaborate with leading technology providers, academic institutions, startups and industry consortia, enabling co-innovation and access to emerging AI advancements. These partnerships strengthen our ability to deliver differentiated, future-ready AI solutions at scale.
In July 2025, we announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with OpenAI to drive large-scale enterprise AI transformation. Together, we have established a dedicated business unit focused on identifying high-value use cases, embedding AI into real-world workflows, modernizing software delivery, redesigning business processes and measuring enterprise impact. Through joint investments in go-to-market initiatives, agentic advisory services and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), HCLTech is helping clients deploy and integrate ChatGPT Enterprise, modernize software and finance operations with AI agents, strengthen AI governance and security and build production-grade industry-specific agents across sectors, including retail, healthcare, manufacturing and financial services.
We signed a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to accelerate innovation in the financial services industry through autonomous, AI-powered solutions. As part of this, HCLTech will launch a suite of pre-built, industry-compliant solutions to modernize contact centers, enhance digital engagement and streamline core platforms across banking, wealth and insurance.
We expanded collaboration with Google Gemini to boost Agentic AI adoption and launched Agentic AI solutions with Google Cloud. HCLTech now has 300+ Agents on Google Marketplace across multiple industries, transforming business processes such as IT, HR, customer relationship management, finance and sales. We have been selected by Google Cloud as the launch partner for Cloud WAN, a network built for the AI era.
Together with SAP, we are exploring next-generation use cases that bring the power of AI into physical and industrial environments. The expanded collaboration focuses on several high-impact domains designed to drive innovation in Enterprise AI, including warehouse operations, fleet management and 3D reality capture.
We signed a strategic collaboration with Red Hat to deliver enterprise-grade AI infrastructure, forged a strategic alliance with AMD to develop future-ready solutions across AI, digital and cloud and launched an AI-powered Fluid Contact Center Solution with Cisco.
During FY26, we launched a Physical AI lab with NVIDIA in Santa Clara, in the US. We were mentioned as a key Physical AI and Robotics partner during the NVIDIA CEO’s keynote at CES 2026.
We added more than 12 partners across the AI Factory ecosystem and launched AI Factory Labs to support co-innovation, rapid prototyping and industrialization of AI use cases with ecosystem leaders, including Intel, Red Hat, Lenovo, HPE and IBM. We also launched dedicated AI Factory solutions with these partners.
Apart from these industry collaborations, HCLTech joined the MIT Media Lab, enabling it to deepen engagement with faculty, researchers and innovators in next-generation technologies, particularly AI. This will also help HCLTech to co-develop projects that could translate meaningful AI innovation into impactful and scalable solutions.
Building Workforce for the AI Era
HCLTech’s AI-first talent transformation is designed to drive enterprise-wide AI adoption across all roles, not just technical teams. It goes beyond upskilling to embedding AI and GenAI into day-to-day work, improving productivity, decision-making and business outcomes.
The approach is persona-led, with tailored learning journeys aligned to how roles are evolving in an AI-driven workplace. Our focus has shifted from GenAI awareness to building AI-augmented professionals across functions, with clear progression in proficiency. The HCLTech AI Institute anchors this effort, partnering with business units to contextualize learning around priorities, client needs and real-world use cases. For technical talent, structured pathways span six levels across AI-augmented and AI builder roles, supported by capstone-led programs to develop next-generation AI engineers.
In FY26, 144,223 employees were trained in AI. Around 63,000 have progressed across proficiency levels, with 11,500 building capabilities to contribute to AI use case realization and AI-accelerated delivery. A further 715 Blackbelt-certified professionals now lead end-to-end AI solutioning and execution, including across corporate functions.
Capability building is reinforced through immersive, role-based programs such as Responsible AI, Powerplay, BuzzForward, GenAI Unplugged and Blackbelt. Ongoing interventions like vibe coding hackathons, ByteLearning and bootcamps help scale learning, recognize proficiency and accelerate applied innovation. This is underpinned by a multi-modal learning ecosystem combining internally curated, practitioner-led and hyperscaler partner content. Platforms such as AI Café, AI Innovation Labs, sandbox environments, AI Clubs and self-paced pathways enable hands-on experimentation and learning at scale.

At the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, HCLTech demonstrated its full-stack AI portfolio, including enterprise-grade AI platforms and services, sovereign-ready software products and industry-focused solutions designed to turn AI into real business outcomes.

VisionX Delivers Safer, Real-Time Port Operations at Scale for Carrix
Carrix, a leading global marine and rail terminal operator, faced growing pressure to modernize operations while ensuring worker safety and uninterrupted cargo flow in complex, high risk environments. Legacy surveillance and compliance systems struggled to scale, lacked real-time insights and depended on cloud connectivity, limiting responsiveness and operational efficiency.
To address this, the company partnered with HCLTech to deploy VisionX, an edge-native AI platform that analyzes video, audio and text data directly on site. The solution enabled real-time detection of safety violations, intrusions and equipment anomalies, eliminating latency through local processing. It unified data across terminal systems, automated manual monitoring and incorporated an energy-efficient architecture aligned with sustainable operations.

Robotics Solution Transforms Testing for Next-gen AR/VR Devices
A large technology company with a rapidly expanding consumer hardware division faced significant challenges in testing next-generation devices such as smart glasses and VR headsets. Rapid product innovation, combined with fragile optics and tightly integrated electronics, had led to a heavy dependence on skilled manual labor for testing — creating cost pressures, longer test cycles and variability in quality outcomes.
To overcome these constraints, the company partnered with HCLTech to implement a scalable, automated testing model. Using HCLTech’s Kinetic AI.QA, a hybrid robotics-led solution, the approach combined robotic handlers, vision-based inspection and adaptive test sequences to enable precise, repeatable testing of sensitive components. Workflows were tailored to accommodate device fragility, complex assemblies and evolving product variants, while maintaining repeatable execution at scale.
The solution significantly reduced dependence on manual testing, shortened test cycles and improved consistency of test coverage. Early defect detection enhanced manufacturing yield and minimized downstream rework, enabling faster production ramp-ups and stronger quality assurance for consumer-ready AR/VR products.

Driving Faster AI Impact for a US-based Beauty Retailer with Office of AI Framework
A leading US-based beauty retailer was experiencing rapid growth in AI experimentation across business units, but lacked a cohesive enterprise framework to translate fragmented initiatives into measurable, scalable business outcomes. The retailer partnered with HCLTech to establish an enterprise-level AI Advisory and Strategy Office to align business, technology and governance under a unified AI operating model.
HCLTech’s Office of AI provided centralized advisory, governance and evaluation services, supported by an end-to-end “Idea-to-Build” framework. AI Acceleration PODs were introduced to rapidly identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact use cases across business units, while AI Operations PODs enabled deployment, industrialization and ongoing support of AI solutions across the retail value chain. In addition, HCLTech also delivered a reusable Office of AI playbook, enabling the retailer to institutionalize AI delivery, governance and lifecycle management.
As a result, the retailer was able to rapidly scale Advanced AI across the retail value chain, driving agentic commerce, smarter merchandising, data-driven store operations and vision-led inventory and loss prevention. With a scalable enterprise AI operating model in place, the organization achieved faster value realization, improved governance and a durable platform for AI-led growth at scale.
